The room was vey nice and the bed comfortable. Our view was wonderful. We had quite a delay in getting into our room which was unfortunate. Overall a good stay. The bartender in the lounge was very good. Our first time in Lucerne and we would come back

We had the best stay at the Hermitage. Loved the room and the view. The restaurant breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were part of a Viking tour and enjoyed Lucerne very much.

The fabulous view from the room on entry was a great way to start. The room had plenty of space and was amazingly presented and extremely tidy. Top rate room service and restaurant meals and overall service was first class and all normal hotel procedures spot on.

Beds, rooms and service is excellent. I would recommend fresh flowers in the room and on the breakfast tables. There shall be trash containers in the breakfast tables to avoid plastic and paper in the plates or table tops. I would recommend a fresh colour on the outside of the 2 adjacent buildings (same color e.g. white and green) and the Logo on both of the facades to show that they belong together. Make use of the etymology of the word Hermitage: Late 13c., "dwelling place of a hermit," from Old French hermitage/ermitage "hermitage, solitude," from hermit (see hermit). Earlier in the same sense in English was hermitorie (c. 1200), from Medieval Latin hermitorium.

We arrived on Saturday and enjoyed the beautiful weather on the lake shore. In the late afternoon we drank a cocktail on the terrace of the hotel bar. The room was very nicely furnished and the balcony was a good size. We had our 40th birthday dinner in the hotel restaurant with a fantastic view. The service was friendly, attentive and competent. The food was good.
